Division for Children, Youth, and Familiestest DCYF manages protective programs on behalf of New Hampshire's children, youth and their families. DCYF staff provide a wide range of family-centered services with the goal of meeting a parent's and a child's needs and strengthening the family system. Services are designed to support families and children in their own homes and communities whenever possible.

Each week the volunteer comes to the family's home for a few hours to offer help wherever it is needed... providing a supportive friend during this special time , answering questions , respite child care , providing transportation , preparing meals , doing light chores, running errands, linking families to community resources.
HeadrestHeadrest has been providing services to individuals with a substance usage disorder for 35 years. The services that we offer include transitional living, residential detox, outpatient counseling and a 24/7 crisis hotline. New FuturesNew Futures is a non-profit, non-partisan, advocacy organization working to reduce underage alcohol problems and increase access to addiction treatment in NH. New Futures is best known for its advovacy training program (Community Leadership Initiative), which helps interested individuals make their voices heard at the state level. Our efforts to help communities address the problems associated with underage drinking are guided by Recommendations for Success: New Hampshire's Strategy to Reduce Underage Alcohol Problems.
New Hampshire Healthy Kids (NHHK)NHHK is a non-profit organization providing access to low-cost and free health coverage options for New Hampshire?s uninsured children and teens. NHHK works in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Northeast Delta Dental, hospitals, community health centers, healthcare providers, schools and social service agencies across New Hampshire to connect uninsured children with the healthcare services they need to stay healthy and go to school ready to learn.

Southwestern Community ServicesSCS is one of six community action agencies throughout New Hampshire, and part of the larger network of 70 agencies in New England and nearly 900 agencies nationwide. We have been serving the needs of our citizens for more than 41 years, beginning in 1965 when President Lyndon Johnson waged his ?War on Poverty.? The Friends ProgramThe Friends Program, a private, non-profit United Way supported agency, matches volunteer adult mentors in one-on-one relationships with children ages 6-17 in the following Sullivan County towns: SAU 43: Newport, Sunapee, Croydon; SAU 71: Goshen-Lempster, SAU 75: Grantham; SAU 65: Springfield and other Kearsarge Regional School district towns. Mentors are selectively matched with students in consultation with school guidance staff. Mentors meet with students 1-2 hours each week, either at a school or out in the community. Turning Points Networkstrives to end all forms of domestic abuse, sexual assault and stalking in our community by enhancing the safety and well-being of individuals and families through empowerment and advocacy; helping create a community responsive to all victims and survivors; and working for social change through education, outreach and systems advocacy.
United WayIn more than 350 communities and states, Success By 6 coalitions are driving lasting community change to help young children succeed -- in school and life. SB6 coalitions are galvanizing business, government and nonprofit leaders around early learning. They're improving the quality of child care, educating parents, supporting better health and higher literacy and building public will for policies, programs and budgets helping young children come to school ready to succeed. In 2005, in partnership with the Ad Council and Civitas, United Way launched Born Learning, the public engagement campaign helping parents and caregivers create early learning opportunities for young children. It includes public service announcements, a Web site (www.BornLearning.org), education material for parents and community mobilization help for coalitions engaged in advocacy.

West Central Behavioral HealthWCBH is a nonprofit, community-based, mental health organization serving the needs of individuals and families in New Hampshire's lower Grafton and Sullivan Counties. We offer a wide range of specialized services for individuals of every age who are struggling with emotional, behavioral or addictive disorders. Since mental health disorders occur across a spectrum, from mild to severe, West Central Behavioral Health tailors its services accordingly. We provide a full continuum of care, including outpatient, emergency, case management, residential and continuing care services. Our unique alliance with Dartmouth-Hitchcock allows us to coordinate hospital-based services.
